CHARTER RULES & OPERATIONAL POLICIES
Last Updated: Aug 2026
1. GENERAL PRINCIPLES
All charter flights coordinated by JETUP LTD are subject to the specific terms of the performing Aircraft Operator and international aviation regulations. JETUP acts as a charter broker and does not operate aircraft directly. Final operational control remains with the Aircraft Operator at all times.
2. QUOTATIONS AND PRICING
-
Validity: Quotes provided via JETUP or "ask Up assist" are subject to aircraft availability and owner’s final approval at the time of booking.
-
Inclusions: Standard quotes include aircraft charter, fuel, crew, and standard VIP catering.
-
Exclusions: De-icing, premium catering (fine wines, specialty meals), satellite phone usage, and high-speed Wi-Fi (if applicable) are typically billed as extras unless specified.
3. CANCELLATION POLICY
Unless otherwise stated in the specific Flight Confirmation, the following standard cancellation fees apply:
-
More than 7 days before departure: 25% of the total charter price.
-
7 days to 48 hours before departure: 50% of the total charter price.
-
48 hours to 24 hours before departure: 75% of the total charter price.
-
Less than 24 hours or No-Show: 100% of the total charter price.
-
Note: Different rates may apply for peak seasons or specific aircraft types.
4. PASSENGER CONDUCT AND SAFETY
-
Pilot Authority: The Pilot-in-Command (PIC) has absolute authority regarding flight safety. The PIC may refuse boarding or divert a flight due to weather, technical issues, or passenger misconduct.
-
Check-in Time: Passengers are required to arrive at the designated FBO (Private Terminal) at least 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
-
Prohibited Items: Hazardous materials, weapons, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited on board in accordance with international aviation security laws.
5. LUGGAGE AND CAPACITY
-
Weight Limits: Each aircraft has specific weight and balance limitations. Passengers must adhere to the baggage allowance specified for the selected aircraft class (e.g., Light Jet vs. Heavy Jet).
-
Excess Baggage: Inclusion of oversized items (skis, golf clubs, large musical instruments) must be approved by JETUP at the time of booking.
6. PETS AND SMOKING
-
Pets: Many operators allow pets on board, provided they have valid health certificates and passports. Advance notice is mandatory.
-
Smoking: Most private aircraft are strictly non-smoking (including e-cigarettes). Violations will result in significant cabin cleaning fees (typically starting at $500).
7. TECHNICAL DELAYS AND SUBSTITUTIONS
In the event of a technical failure (AOG - Aircraft on Ground), JETUP will use its global network to source a sub-charter aircraft of similar or higher category. Any additional costs for the replacement aircraft will be communicated to the client for approval.
8. DOCUMENTATION AND IMMIGRATION
It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to ensure all travel documents (Passports, Visas, Health Certificates) are valid for the entire duration of the trip. JETUP assumes no liability for denied entry due to documentation errors.
